Today Ivan had the opportunity to record percussion for the CSUF Latin Band and Jazz Orchestra. These recordings will be submitted for a potential Grammy Nomination.

Selena is Samantha's idol.Selena was the sweetest girl possible.  It was a BIG moment for her! Selena knows how to put on a show! Ivan had the opportunity to meet one of the top bass players in the world, Abraham Laboriel Sr. Abraham has recorded with countless artists such as: Michael Jackson, Herbie Hancock, Madonna, Quincy Jones, and many more.

Today Ivan had the opportunity to record with the CSUF Latin Ensemble. In addition, the Latin Ensemble was honored to record with Poncho Sanchez's musical director Francisco Torres. 

Samantha Elizondo performed at the 10th Annual Inner City Sports Festival & Health Fair. Samantha perormed on both the kids stage and the adult stage. She had a great time.

Ivan and the Cal State Fullerton Latin Band had the opportunity to play with Grammy Award Winning percussionist Poncho Sanchez. This was a great opportunity for Ivan and his colleagues.

Today Samantha and Christian Elizondo filmed on Nickelodeon's new show "Sam and Cat". They had a blast! Thank you Nickelodeon!

Pepe Garza visits Cal State Fullerton Chicano Music Experience class today. This is one of Ivan's classes that he is currently taking. Ivan had the opportunity to meet Pepe. Pepe is president of the Los Angeles based radio station 105.5/ 94.3 "Que Buena." Additionally, Pepe has worked with artists such as: Jenni and Lupillo Rivera, Espinoza Paz, and Adan "Chalino" Sanchez to name a few.
